PA REALTORS® Education Foundation:
Behr, Miller Awarded Grants
The PA REALTORS® Education Foundation (PREF) awarded in May two $1,000 grants to college students Zachary Behr of Philadelphia and Eric P. Miller of Wyomissing.
Behr, son of REALTOR® Courtney V. Franklin, is pursuing a degree in real estate management at Temple University. He earned his real estate license in 2005 and is a REALTOR® with the Blue Bell Market Center of Keller Williams Real Estate. Behr’s career goals include earning a brokerage license and starting an investment firm.
Miller, son of REALTOR® Eric J. Miller, plans to study business administration and entrepreneurial studies at Muhlenberg College in Allentown. Miller’s professional interests include real estate development and new construction. He plans to become a REALTOR® with RE/MAX of Reading.
“I think PREF’s grant-in-aid program is really important to the association. It’s a wonderful tool to help make our collegues aware of what we do for our own members and their families,” said Anne Matyjasik of Exton and a member of the award selection task force. “I’m surprised more people don’t take advantage of this opportunity. My own daughter Corinne was thrilled when she was awarded the grant-in-aid several years ago.”
The foundation awards annual grants to college students who are pursuing real estate related studies at a Pennsylvania college or university. Find more information on the grant program at: www.parealtor.org/content/PREF.asp.
