Guy A. Matteo is a member of the Suburban West REALTORS® Association and is an associate broker with RE/MAX Preferred in Newtown Square. He was first licensed as a salesperson in 1985 and obtained his associate broker’s license in 1989. He is also a certified broker/appraiser (1996).

On the local level, Guy served on the Board of Directors for six years and was chairman of the Legislative and RPAC Committees for a number of years. He served as the 2000 chairman of the Board of the REALTORS® Legislative Alliance and currently serves as a member of SRA’s Board of Directors and the Southeast Regional Political Action Committee. In 2002, Guy was named the “REALTOR® of the Year” by the Delaware Valley REALTORS® Association.

Guy has been a member of the PAR Board of Directors for the past several years and has served on the association’s Legislative, RPAC, Finance and Nominating Committees. Currently he is the District #2 Vice-President. Guy has served as chairman of the Governance Task Force and vice chairman of the Legislative Committee in recent years. He currently serves as chair of PAR’s Legislative Committee. Guy was the recipient of PAR’s “REALTOR® Active in Politics” award in 1999.

Active with the National Association of REALTORS®, Guy has served as an NAR Director for the past four years and has served on the Research, Membership Policy & Board Jurisdiction and Land Use Committees. He served as the Federal Political Coordinator (FPC) to the 7^th-PA Congressional District from 1998 through 2006. This year, Guy will serve on NAR’s Issues Mobilization Committee.

Guy resides in Media with his wife, Anne Marie and their two children.
