PAR's agreement with OneBigPlanet not only gives PAR members access to the site, but also allows PAR members to invite their current and past clients to join as well.
To register with OneBigPlanet, a client MUST be referred through a specific referral link -- they cannot simply go to the OneBigPlanet Web site and register. To make it easier for you to reach out to your clients, PAR has designed an introductory e-mail message in HTML that contains the appropriate referral links. Before you send the message there are a few things you will need to do:
(1) Copy the entire e-mail (graphics and all) located at the bottom of this page, and just paste it into an e-mail to your clients -- with a few small chages. Changes can be made simply by adding or retyping the appropriate text in the e-mail message before sending it.
(2) For compliance with the
Federal CAN-SPAM rules, you need to add 'unsubscribe' information (an e-mail or phone number the client can use to request no further messages from you on this topic), as well as your name, broker's name and your mailing address. This information is indicated by placeholders at the very bottom of the message.
(3) We recommend that you not make any substantial changes to the main text of the e-mail, as it has been drafted by OneBigPlanet based on successful past marketing campaigns. You may wish to insert your own introduction and/or closing to the message, however. This information can be inserted above the initial banner, or at the appropriate place at the end of the text.
(4) Remember that to the extent you add any "advertising" information to this e-mail, all relevant advertising rules apply. For example, you must have your brokerage name and phone number of equal or greater size than your own name and phone number.
