TriplePlay Convention: It’s Worth the Trip
Traveling to Atlantic City the first week in December doesn’t sound like fun. But 10,000 REALTORS® can’t be wrong.
Educational opportunities, social events and a top-notch trade expo are just a few reasons REALTORS® flock to TriplePlay Convention and Trade Expo each December. This year’s conference is slated for December 5-7 at the Atlantic City Convention Center and is jointly sponsored by Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey.
PAR Convention Advisory & Marketing Group Chair Rick Foley says December is a great time to attend TriplePlay. “I personally enjoy the social aspect. TriplePlay is a great networking opportunity and I enjoy seeing everyone there,” Foley adds.
Maggie Pollich, vice chair of PAR’s Convention Advisory & Marketing Group, says there are many aspects of the annual convention that keep her returning. Her first year attending TriplePlay, she went despite the fact that no one from her office was going and she was sick with a cold. Even with these less-than-perfect conditions, Pollich had a great time and years later she continues to recruit REALTORS® to join her at TriplePlay.
Pollich says there are many social events that give REALTORS® an opportunity to network. “I tell people to bring lots of business cards,” she notes. “I built business relationships for a referral base and personal relationships that have lasted over the years. I hear about what’s going on in the industry, not only in Pennsylvania but in New York and New Jersey as well.”
There will be approximately 490 exhibitors at the trade show, a statistic that rivals NAR’s national convention. “The trade show is another reason I keep going back,” Pollich agrees. “The vendors are typically regional companies that can help my business. They cater to me on a local level.”
Nationally known speakers highlight seminars held during TriplePlay.
