Earn the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute designation completely online!
The Pennsylvania REALTORS® Institute is partnering with Cengage Learning | CompuTaught to offer the GRI designation in an online format. REALTORS® interested in earning the designation can now choose between the traditional Classroom Track (seven classroom-style courses, offered across the state) or the Online Track (three online courses taken at your convenience). Once you’ve selected a Track, the Pennsylvania GRI is within reach! Those members who have already begun their GRI designation in classroom-style courses must stay on the Classroom Track in order to achieve the designation.
The Graduate, REALTOR® Institute designation is the most prestigious, nationally recognized designation in the industry; the Cornerstone of REALTOR® education. There are no annual dues or renewal fees – as long as you remain a REALTOR® member you maintain your GRI status. On average, GRI designees earn $33,200 more than non-designees. In today’s competitive business environment you need more than just motivation and initiative to succeed, you need the advantage of the education you receive in the GRI program.

Each course (GRI 1, 2 and 3) costs $350. You may also purchase the complete Pennsylvania GRI Package at once for a discounted rate of $895!
COURSE EXPIRATION AND EXTENSION POLICY
All course lessons on the computer must be completed within 180 days from the date of enrollment. You have 90 days to access and review the course content after you have completed the last lesson in a course.
If you cannot complete your course within the 180 days, you may purchase a 60 day extension for $50.00 from the Pennsylvania REALTORS® Institute. The 60 day extension period begins from the date your course originally expires. You may purchase up to three extensions per course. It is your responsibility to contact the Pennsylvania REALTORS® Institute to find out about purchasing an extension. It is recommended that you purchase the extension immediately after the course has expired in order to be able to have the full 60 days of the extension.
CANCELLATION/REFUNDS
Once you have registered/purchased a course there are no refunds or exchanges. Please make sure you’ve read all of the necessary information before making your purchase final.
TRANSCRIPTS/CONTINUING EDUCATION
Each GRI Online course is worth 30 hours CE (Continuing Education) credit and two Broker-Elective credits. Those initially licensed on or after December 1, 2007 are required to take a specific, mandatory course. These sessions will not fulfill this continuing education requirement. Within 30 days of course completion you will receive a paper transcript in the mail for your records. It is your responsibility to maintain the original copy of your transcript in the event of an audit by the State Real Estate Commission. A $20 administrative fee will be charged for a duplicate copy of the transcript(s).
DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS
Upon completion of GRI 1, 2 and 3 you will receive a certificate, pin and press release in the mail from the Pennsylvania REALTORS® Institute. Please confirm that we have your current mailing address on file by sending an email to
prionline@parealtor.org. By earning the GRI designation and maintaining membership at the state, local and national levels you have the opportunity to be recognized at the
Triple Play REALTOR® Convention and Trade Expo in Atlantic City, NJ.
