Real World Real Estate – Residential Module

In October 2008, the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission mandated that all salespersons be required to complete 14 hours of prescribed education during their first continuing education cycle. Real World Real Estate satisfies this credit. For the 2008-2010 renewal cycle this requirement applies to anyone licensed on or after December 1, 2007. Each licensee must take the general module (7 hours) and one elective module (7 hours) in either Residential or Commercial. Currently the Association of REALTORS® School is offering the General Module and the Residential Module. The courses are required for new licensees as described above; however, any licensee may benefit and receive continuing education credit for these courses.

Real World Real Estate is designed to provide students with a high level of knowledge and understanding regarding key areas of real estate practice. It will bridge the gap between textbook licensing education and the real world of real estate. The general module focuses on issues applicable to all licensees in any transaction. It serves as the foundation for material to be presented in the other modules. The Residential Module develops the skills appropriate for providing the highest level of service to consumers in residential transactions.
