Allegheny County Realtor® Named 2012 Treasurer

LEMOYNE, PA (Jan. 27, 2012) – Ron Croushore, owner and CEO of Prudential Preferred Realty in Pittsburgh, recently was named 2012 Treasurer of the PA Association of Realtors®.    

A Realtor® and broker for more than 30 years, Croushore also serves as president of the West Penn Multi-List, Inc., and is past president of the Realtors® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh.

Within the PA Association of Realtors®, Croushore chaired the Strategic Planning Committee and the fundraising efforts of the Realtors® Political Action Committee (RPAC).  Currently, he chairs the RPAC and the Finance Committee, and he is a member of the Legislative Committee and Business Issues Subcommittee.

Croushore was the first Realtor® to be appointed to the PA Housing Finance Agency (PHFA) board of directors, and he recently was named the first-ever winner of the Real Estate Leadership Award from RISMedia.  He received the award at the annual RISMedia Power Broker Reception & Dinner, held in conjunction with the National Association of Realtors® annual Realtors® Conference & Expo in November. The award, sponsored by Citi, was given to a member of the real estate community who pursues innovation and exercises resilience.

Croushore is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and a lifetime resident of the Pittsburgh area, where he is an active member of the community.

Croushore spearheads his company’s accomplishments as a top local corporate contributor to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
