LEMOYNE, PA (Jan. 27, 2012) – Montgomery County Realtor® Bette McTamney will serve as the 2012 President Elect of the PA Association of Realtors® (PAR). McTamney is broker/owner of ERA Platinum Realtors® in Worcester.
She has been active in her local Montgomery County Association of Realtors® for the past 27 years, having served as its president in 2002 and on many local committees. McTamney was awarded Realtor® of the Year in 1999.
At the state level, McTamney received PAR’s Distinguished Service Award in 2011. She serves on the Business Issues Subcommittee, Legislative Committee. She previously served as chair of the Finance Committee, Convention Advisory Committee, the Professional Standards Committee, Professional Task Force and the Educational Requirements Task Force. She is the past president of the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers (CRB) and served as a past PAR district vice president covering Bucks and Montgomery counties and on the Pennsylvania Realtors® Education Foundation (PREF).
McTamney is a National Association of Realtors® (NAR) director and a member of NAR’s Professional Standards and Conventional Finance and Lending committees. She also serves on the national Council of Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) Board of Directors and on its Professional Development Committee.
McTamney is also involved in her local community, volunteering her time for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), Brain Tumor Society of Philadelphia and the Montgomery County Partners for Home Ownership.
