Special Assistance
The Pennsylvania Realtors® Institute is willing to work with you if you have special needs. Please submit a written description of your needs to
Sandi Baker prior to attending a course.
Attendance
The Pennsylvania Realtors® Institute must comply with rules and regulations set forth in Title 49: Professional and Vocational Standards of the Pennsylvania Code.
- §35.358 of the Code requires students to be physically present during at least 90% of the classroom instruction for a continuing education course, to receive credit. Attendance will be monitored. Students should refrain from leaving the classroom until scheduled breaks are called by the instructor. Abuse of this policy may result in the loss of a student's continuing education credit.
- All classes begin promptly at the time noted on the course confirmation. The doors will close 15 minutes after the start of class and no one will be admitted after that time. This is PRI's school policy and is printed on all course confirmations.
- §35.360(a)(6) requires the education provider to maintain attendance records for each class. To fulfill this requirement, all students will be asked to sign in upon arrival and again at the end of the course. Failure to complete all sign-in/out procedures may result in the loss of a student's continuing education credit.
Transcripts
All students will receive an emailed copy of his or her transcript within 30 business days. It is the responsibility of the student to keep all transcripts in the event of an audit by the State Real Estate Commission. You can request a duplicate copy of your transcript from the Pennsylvania Realtors® Institute. Repeated requests may result in a processing fee.
Recording
Recording of any kind is not permitted at PRI courses. Students are expected to turn off all electronic devices upon entering the classroom. Failure to comply with this policy could result in dismissal from the class or loss of a student's continuing education credit.
Recruitment
No recruiting for employment opportunities for any real estate brokerage firm is allowed in any class. Any recruiting will be promptly reported to the State Real Estate Commission at 1-800-822-2113.
