Using your voice to ask a question is part of everyday life. It’s natural for you to ask a question of a colleague or significant other. Now, there are digital assistants available to help you through your day too. Two prominent platforms have emerged as industry leaders–Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Your association is taking steps to be a part of that daily conversation on both platforms.

The Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® is proud to announce the launch of our first Amazon Alexa skill and Google Assistant actions. These tools are designed to help you engage with your association on important topics and tasks you perform daily.

If you already have an Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant smart device you can take advantage of the new Pennsylvania Realtors® skill. Just ask Alexa to “Enable Pennsylvania Realtors®” or for Google Assistant say: “Hey Google, talk to Pennsylvania Realtors®.”

You have access to the same information, no matter which platform is your preference. With this launch, you have access to the latest JustListed article headlines, important legislative updates from our Capitol Report, information to access the PAR legal hotline and an update on our Preferred PARtners.

This is just the beginning. We are launching with these features to garner feedback from members and grow with the platforms. Additionally, the launch of these smart speaker skills aligns with PAR’s goal of continuing to engage members in more digital ways.

So, let us have it. Take the new Amazon Alexa skill and Google Assistant tasks for a spin and drop your feedback in the comments. Or send me an email. I’m happy to listen to how we can provide an exceptional benefit for you, our members.

Happy talking.
