Elections for moderators will be held at the Forums. During the district meetings, elections for district vice presidents and the 2018 Legislative Committee will be held. At the Board of Directors meeting, an election for 2018 treasurer will be held.

8 a.m. – 5 p.m. – Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency
Meet with Brooke Proctor from PHFA outside the Bridgeport room on Monday, Sept. 11. PHFA’s home purchase loans carry competitive, 30-year fixed interest rates. Buyers may qualify for closing cost and/or down payment assistance. Because a Realtor® is often the buyers first contact, it is important for agents to know about PHFA’s programs and how to determine if their customers are eligible.

John Phillips and David Marshall from the Federal Housing Administration’s Philadelphia Homeownership Center will give an update on lending opportunities. Cost is $15 per person and pre-registration is required.

Noon – CRS Luncheon
Don Haschert of Pillar to Post will present “Meth Labs… What You Don’t Know, Can Hurt You.”Cost is $25 per person and pre-registration is required.
3 p.m. – Diversity Committee meeting
Jinada Rochelle, assistant director of enforcement for the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, will present, “Hoarding – How to protect your rights as a property owner.”
6 – 7:30 p.m. – PAR Awards Reception

In general, the bylaws* allow that a member with two unexcused absences may be removed from a committee. We ask that you contact Kim Smith or call your staff liaison at (800) 555-3390 to let them know that you will not be attending a committee meeting or the Board of Directors meeting. *Some committees have different requirements.
In order to receive a refund for cancellation of a paid event, email Diane Langner on or before Monday, Sept. 4. Refunds will not be available for cancellations received on or after Tuesday, Sept. 5.
